ALEJANO, PINABABANTAYAN SI PANGULONG DUTERTE DAHIL POSSIBLE RAW ITONG MAG-ALA MARCOS

Magdalo Rep. Gary Alejano is publicly the transitory provision of the proposed federal constitution.


This is because of the possibility of giving "absolute power" to President Rodrigo Duterte that he hopes for the revolutionary government.

Alejano explains, the version that is being discussed today in the Chamber and contains a transitory provision in which Congress will dismantle and delegate legislative powers to the president until the federal assembly is established.


Congressman warned, the transition period may take years to come as former president Ferdinand Marcos made the transitional provision of the 1973 Constitution.

"We would see a repeat of Marcos as we are seeing many similarities already. Duterte is certainly reading Marcos' playbook, " he said.
