TRILLANES, SINABING ANG UNCONSTITUTIONAL NA PAGPAPATALSIK KAY SERENO AY MAARING MAGING DAHILAN SA KANILANG SARILING IMPEACHMENT

Antonio Trillanes IV on Sunday warned a few judges of the Supreme Court that their detailed "unlawful" move to remove Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno from her post might be reason for their own indictment. 

Trillanes made the comment following a report that various high court judges need Sereno to leave over a portion of the claims in the arraignment grumbling against her. 

In an announcement, Trillanes said it is unlawful to make any endeavor to evacuate the Chief Justice through a procedure other than prosecution. 

"It will be a baldfaced usurpation of the select energy of Congress under the Constitution," he said. 


Sereno, who is right now on "inconclusive leave," is confronting a prosecution objection before the House of Representatives. The House Committee on Justice will as of now vote on Thursday on whether there is reasonable justification to continue with denunciation.
